The Bangladesh Police have arrested cricketer Shahadat Hossain's wife Nritto over allegations of beating an eleven-year-old maid.
Confirming the news, police inspector Shafiqur Rahman said that Nritto had been arrested from her parent's house while they are still searching for Shahadat, the Express Tribune reported.
Receiving the information, the Bangladesh police had conducted the raid at the house but they didn't find Shahadat.
Earlier in September, the Bangladesh police had filed a case by a girl, who claimed to be working as a maid in cricketer's house and accused him and his wife of torturing her.
The girl was found injured and crying on a street in the capital Dhaka.
