Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina skipped the SAARC retreat session held here on Thursday as she was unwell.
Hasina's media advisor, Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, however clarified that though she has skipped the retreat session, she will join the concluding session of the Summit today in Kathmandu, the Daily Star reported.
Besides attending the concluding session of the 18th SAARC Summit, the Bangladeshi Prime Minister along with other SAARC leaders will also join the meeting with Nepalese President Ram Baran Yadav and attend a dinner. She will fly back home tomorrow by a VIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
Yesterday, Hasina addressed the inaugural session of the two-day summit. She along with her 63-member delegation, including Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali and top bureaucrats, reached Kathmandu on Tuesday afternoon.
