Bangladesh war crimes accused dies in Dhaka hospital

Bangladesh war crimes accused Emdadul Haque died at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Tuesday morning from several health-related complications. He was 78.
The Daily Star quoted prosecutor Rezia Sultana Chaman, as saying that he was admitted to the hospital soon after his January 6 arrest for his alleged involvement in crimes against humanity in 1971 in the Brahmanbaria area of Bangladesh.
