Barack's learning to speak without a teleprompter, jokes Joe Biden

US Vice President Joe Biden cracked a joke about Barack Obama's dependence on prepared text.

Biden had earlier asked that the teleprompter machine to be taken down, ahead of his remarks at a Jewish heritage event on Tuesday night, Politico reported.

He said that people couldn't tell Barack that the teleprompter's down, asserting that the standing joke in the office is that Barack is learning to speak without a teleprompter and he is learning to speak with one.
