Christian Benteke scored his fifth goal for Liverpool as the Anfield club rallied past Bordeaux 2-1 to progress through to the last 32 of the Europa League.
Henri Saivet put the tourists ahead in the 34th minute before James Milner restored parity four minutes later with a penalty. Belgian international Benteke then scored the decisive goal on the stroke of half-time.
Reflecting on his team's performance, manager Jurgen Klopp praised Benteke and said that it was a tough game to win, the Guardian reported.
Liverpool secured qualification with a game to spare and will finish top of Group B.
