Bloody start to Eid in Pakistan

Eid-ul-Fitr prayers on Quetta's eastern bypass saw at least eight people dead and others injured after unidentified men opened fire.

According to the Dawn, sources said that the men opened fire on former provincial minister, Ali Madad Jattak during Eid prayers killing eight people.

However, the minister remained safe.

Police and Frontier Corps (FC) cordoned off the area and started investigation.
