Brazilian flag waving female assistant referee becomes internet sensation

Brazilian Fernanda Colombo Uliana has become the latest internet sensation after her flag -waving work was on display during a recent Copa do Brasil match featuring top-flight club Sao Paulo.

The 25-year-old assistant referee, who is reportedly going to work her first Brazil Serie A game, has been officiating in her native Brazil for some time, the New York Daily News reported.

She was recently was granted FIFA official status by the refereeing committee of the Brazilian FA and works as a personal trainer trainer in the day.
