Chhattisgarh: Naxals attack BSF camp, one jawan killed

An attack by Naxal forces on a Border Security Force (BSF) camp in Pakhanjur region of Chhattisgarh's Kanker district on Monday morning left one jawan dead.
The ensuing gun-battle between the security forces and the left wing extremists also saw one Naxal killed.
After the battle, security forces recovered three Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) from the area.
This latest attack follows Sunday's act of violence in the Kanker district of the state, where the extremists set ablaze 17 vehicles which were engaged in mining work.
