'Chinese Black Coal, Thin Ice' wins Golden Bear award at Berlin International Film Festival

The Chinese film 'Bai Ri Yan Huo' (Black Coal, Thin Ice) won the Golden Bear for best picture at the Berlin International Film Festival on Saturday.

American Richard Linklater won the Best Director award for his film 'Boyhood' at the same event, News24.com reported.

The best actor award was won by Liao Fan for his role in 'Black Coal, Thin Ice' while Haru Kuroki won best actress award for her role in the Japanese film 'The Little House.
