The transport authorities have suspended the scheduled run of the cross Line of Control (LoC) bus services between Poonch-Rawalakot due to a ceasefire violation.

The passengers from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) came back to the Indian side because Pakistan did not open the gate on Monday.

"The authorities of Pakistan did not open the gates. We waited for several hours but had to return at last," one of the passengers told ANI.

The transport authority said no one wanted to take a risk so they were sent back by the army officials.

Earlier in the day, at least four Pakistani soldiers were killed by the army in the cross-border firing initiated by the former.
