Dame Helen Mirren wants a woman to play Doctor Who

Dame Helen Mirren thinks it is time Doctor Who was played by a woman.

The Oscar-winning actress asserted that she is so sick of seeing Matt Smith with his girl sidekick, the Sun reported.

The star said that she could name at least ten wonderful British actresses who would absolutely kill in that role.
