Deadly suicide attack kills 78 in Nigeria

A suicide attack by two female bombers in northern Nigeria's Maiduguri city has killed about 78 people, a report said.

A teenage girl blew herself up at a crowded market in the city and as people gathered to help her, another girl detonated herself, reported the BBC.

Although no Islamist militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack, Boko Haram is suspected of carrying the attack.
