'Deepwater Horizon' starring Mark Wahlberg set for 2016 release

'Deepwater Horizon' starring Mark Wahlberg in the lead will hit the theatres in September 2016, it has been revealed.

The movie will be made under the banner of Summit Entertainment and will revolve around the true story account of the disturbing 2010 BP oil spill incident, Deadline.com reported.

The movie will be directed by JC Chandor which is penned by Matthew Sand and Matthew Carnahan.
