Defence Ministry refutes reports of ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Sabjiyan Sector

The Defence Ministry on Monday denied media reports, which suggested that there was a ceasefire violation in Sabjiyan Sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch District.

It issued a statement clarifying that there has been no ceasefire violation in Sabjiyan sector last night.

"It is clarified that there has been no ceasefire violation in Sabjiyan sector on the night of 16 November 2014 as being reported by number of media channels. Army refutes such unfounded and

uncorroborated inputs," it said.

Earlier, media reports said Pakistan had committed a fresh ceasefire violation in Sabjiyan Sector.
