Authorities have arrested three tiger skin poachers and seized 18 kilograms of tiger remains worth almost 80 thousand dollars in the international market.
Additional Commissioner of Police Ravindra Yadav said:"A team of the Crime Branch under Deputy Commissioner of Police Bisham Singh has busted a gang of wildlife poachers and smugglers."
The confiscated items included tiger skins, skull, teeth, nails and bones, which the poachers planned to sell in the Chinese and Far East black market.
Yadav said the poachers had a vast network across the country, including links with tribal communities.
