An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 on the Richter scale struck Bristol in the United Kingdom (UK) on Saturday at 8 pm (IST).
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the earthquake struck 88 kilometres West of Bristol.
"M4.9 #earthquake strikes 88 km W of #Bristol (United Kingdom) 13 min ago. Effects reported by witnesses," EMSC tweeted.
As of now, no casualties or damage have been reported.
