Jharkhand's Dhanbad railways division on Thursday witnessed traffic snarl for three hours over reports of missing fish plates.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged in this regard.
Earlier today around 6 a.m. the loco pilot of a passenger train detected fish plates to be missing and stopped the train, averting the accident.
The missing fittings were noticed on the Eastern Railway's Malda Division's tracks.
Jharkhand's Dhanbad Division is a part of East Central Railways (ECR).
