Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are a perfect example of the phrase 'love has no gender'.
While preparing for a new season of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', the talk-show host couldn't help but mark her nine-year wedding anniversary to Portia De Rossi on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Ellen shared a photo from the couple's wedding day with an adorable message to her leading lady.
She captioned the snap, "@PortiadeRossi and I got married 9 years ago today. Being her wife is the greatest thing I am."
Singer Joshua Radin, who performed at the couple's wedding, also took to the photo and video-sharing app to celebrate their union.
"Nine years ago today, these two incredible women got married and asked me to sing some of my songs to them while they were celebrating their most special day. It's still one of the most fun things I've ever done. Happy anniversary @theellenshow and @portiaderossi," wrote Radin.
The couple tied the knot in front of 30 close friend and family members back on August 16, 2008.
