Fans go berserk over reports of Andrew Lincoln quitting 'The Walking Dead'

'The Walking Dead' star Andrew Lincoln (starred as Rick Grimes) might exit the AMC series after Season 9.

Lincoln's departure, regardless of the circumstances in which his character, Rick, departs, is expected to change the landscape of the show.

A fan shared a GIF and shared the sorrow. The tweet read, "Me when I saw that Andrew Lincoln is leaving TWD ?? #TheWalkingDead."

Another tweet read, "I've always felt that Andrew Lincoln was the anchor to The Walking Dead (as well as the comic, obviously). The bigger question now is if the show can survive his exit."

Another fan wrote, "andrew lincoln/rick grimes is the most important person on the walking dead.. idc what you say, there's no show without him."
