Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh will be traveling to Japanese capital Tokyo from April 23-26, where she will hold consultations with Japanese Vice Foreign Minister Akitaka Saiki on bilateral, regional and international issues.
Apart from meetings in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singh will also hold discussions with counterparts in the Japanese Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Japan International Cooperation Agency.
She will also address a group of academicians and scholars, and also meet select Japanese women leaders.
Singh will utilize her visit to Japan to discuss implementation of ideas and projects decided at the leadership level, thereby maintaining the momentum of the India-Japan Strategic and Global Partnership.
