The Mumbai Police on Tuesday arrested two more Haryana Police constables in the alleged fake encounter case of gangster Sandeep Gadoli.
With the arrest of the two police constables namely- Vikram Singh and Jitendra Yadav, the total arrest toll has gone up to three.
Last week, the Special Investigation Team of the Mumbai Police had arrested sub-inspector Pradyumna Yadav, who led the team during the encounter.
Gadoli, who was carrying a reward of Rs. 1.25 lakh, was killed in an encounter with the Gurgaon Crime unit on February 7.
A team of Gurgaon city crime branch had come in search of Gadoli, who was residing in a hotel in Mumbai's Andheri East.
When the police team entered his room, there was cross firing between the accused and the police men.
Gadoli was admitted to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Two policemen were also injured in the incident.
