Goa: Leader of Opp. Chandrakant Kavlekar booked by ACB in DA case
The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday filed an FIR against Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Kavlekar in disproportionate assets case.
In 2012, Goa Police had filed a case against Kavlekar under various sections of Prevention of Corruption Act.
Kavlekar is a three term member of the Goa Legislative Assembly and represents the Quepem constituency.
He was the chairman of the Goa industrial development corporation (GIDC).
