Grenades, bullets, probably buried during 1971 Liberation War found

Police have confirmed recovering four grenades and 117 rounds of bullet found buried at Srinagar in Munshiganj.

A bdnews.com report said that the grenades and ammunition were found while digging for the construction of a mosque in Keotchirha on Saturday afternoon,

Assistant Superintendent of Police Mohammad Shamsuzaman Babu said the grenades and bullets are no longer of any use.

"We suspect they were buried during the Liberation War," he added.
