Gujarat HC asks EC to probe Shanker Chaudhary's alleged fake degree

The Gujarat High Court on Tuesday asked the Election Commission (EC) to probe the alleged fake degree of state minister and BJP leader Shanker Chaudhary.

The petition in the High Court asks how the minister, who received his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in March 2011, got the MBA degree in 2012.

Governor O P Kohli had earlier written a letter to the Gujarat Administrative Department (GAD) to inquire if the MBA degree of Chaudhary is fake or whether it has been procured unfairly.
