Gunmen open fire outside US consulate in Istanbul hours after blast

Two gunmen in Turkish capital Istanbul have opened fire outside the US consulate, hours after a bomb attack on a police station.
According to the BBC, seven people have reportedly been injured in the blast, including five police officers.
There have been no reports of anyone getting hurt in the gunfire outside the US consulate.
The attacks come as tensions between Turkey and the rebel Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) have increased.
