On the morning of April 1, Gwen Stefani took to Instagram to post a photo of an ultrasound, leading everyone to believe she was expecting a child. She captioned the post, "It's a girl gx," reports E! Online.
While the post had so many people thinking that the 46-year-old singer was really pregnant with her boyfriend Blake Shelton's baby, others quickly realized it was just a prank.
Later, during her appearance on 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,' the 'Rich Girl' hit-maker confirmed the news was simply an April Fools' prank as she displayed her toned mid-section in a sheer, fishnet ensemble as she exited the show's New York set.
