Gwyneth Paltrow didn't want people to know about her split from Chris Martin

Gwyneth Paltrow wanted to keep pretending that she was still together with hubby Chris Martin, it has been revealed.

Sources told the New York Post that the 41-year-old actress didn't want people to know that they had separated.

It was the Coldplay front man's idea to announce their split, since he felt it was wrong to keep pretending they were together, even though they had drifted apart and were never getting back, added the insider.
