India, Jordan agree to exchange info to combat terrorism

India and Jordan have agreed to exchange information to combat terrorism.
President Pranab Mukherjee, who is on a three-nation visit, here on Saturday discussed with King Abdullah II various issues to improve bilateral relations and trade.
India also extended a line of credit of 100 Million dollars to Jordan.
Earlier, President Mukherjee, who arrived here in the afternoon, was accorded a guard of honour in the forecourt of the palace.
This is the first time that an Indian President is visiting Jordan, Palestine and Israel.
President Mukherjee is accompanied by a Members of Parliament representing major political parties and an academic delegation, including heads of leading institutions of higher education and senior officials.
