India still owes Pakistan around 5.6 billion rupees, says the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
Since 1947, the division of liabilities and assets of the Reserve Bank of India stay incomplete even today.
The issue department of the State Bank of Pakistan shows claims on the RBI under two different categories of assets.
The bigger portion consists of sterling securities worth 501.6 million rupees; gold coins worth 4.1 billion rupees and government of India securities worth 240.4 million rupees and 4.9 million rupees coins while the smaller portion of assets consist of Indian notes.
Any resolutions on the RBI as of now appear unlikely while nationalist analysts still probe into the situation on channels, reports the Express Tribune.
