Pakistan spearhead Wahab Riaz, who has been suffering from a hand injury, has ruled himself out of the two-match Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement that the Riaz still feels stiffness in his bowling hand and, therefore, has withdrawn himself from T20s squad, the Dawn reported.
The statement further said that Zia-ul-Haq would be replacing the left arm fast bowler.
Riaz, who suffered a hairline fracture on his left-hand on the opening day of the second Test in Colombo, was earlier ruled out of the five-match ODI series against Sri Lanka.
Pakistan, who clinched their first series win in the island nation after 2006, will face Sri Lanka in the fifth and final one-day in Hambantota on Sunday.
That will be followed by two Twenty20 internationals on July 30 and August 1, both to be played in Colombo.
