ANI Washington DC, [USA]

Actor Jamie Lee Curtis said her new movie 'Halloween' is a movie which has all the elements of the #MeToo movement.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Curtis of 'True Lies' fame said that it is not the writers of the film-Danny McBride and Jeff Fradley-who were trying to incorporate an element of #MeToo but the "natural occurrence of a zeitgeist, of a change, of a shift in thought and action which comes from these moments of tremendous cultural change".

In the new movie 'Halloween', Curtis plays the role of Laurie Strode, who, along with her daughter, Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter, Allyson (Andi Matichak) battle the masked killer Michael Myers.

She added that this is one such movie which will act as "that same chorus" of women taking back their lives through bravery.

Curtis even credited her character to be a powerful one, who, according to her, represents those women.
