Jilted lover stabs girl on college terrace in MP

A girl was stabbed allegedly by a jilted lover, who later tried to commit suicide, on the terrace of a Burhanpur-based college, Madhya Pradesh Police said.

Both were the students of the same college.

The accused after attacking the girl tried to jump off the third floor of the college building after stabbing himself.

Both, the victim and the accused have been admitted to a hospital.

Informing about the incident, Girwar Singh Jalodia Police officer at Kotwali Police Station, said, "We are investigating. The spot and CCTV footage are being examined. One team visited the hospital.
