Josh Whitehouse joins 'Game of Thrones' prequel

After Naomi Watts, actor Josh Whitehouse has been roped in for the pilot episode of 'Game of Thrones' prequel.

Taking to his Instagram account, Whitehouse confirmed the casting announcement on Thursday.

" So I've been holding on to some very big news and it's been killing me - but here you go #gameofthrones," he wrote.

Written and produced by Jane Goldman alongside author George R.R. Martin, the yet-to-be titled prequel takes places thousands of years before the events of 'Game of Thrones' and is set to debut in 2019.
