Dame Judi Dench, who suffers from macular degeneration, a condition that causes the gradual loss of vision, has revealed that her failing eyesight has made it very difficult for her to read movie scripts.
The 79-year-old actress told The Hollywood Reporter that she can't read or paint like she used to, and even watching movies is difficult for her.
The 'Philomena' star asserted that she does not want to ponder over the negatives of her condition and does what she has to do to get by.
Dench added that despite her illness, she will not retire from acting because she will never get started again.
