Kalki Koechlin recently revealed that she won't mind wearing a director's hat if she comes across a script with an interesting storyline.
"For me, expressing my thoughts is writing or talking about something which deeply affects me. If something along these lines does come to my mind then why not," the Express Tribune quoted the 32-year-old actress as saying in a recent interview.
Kalki also feels she has been fortunate enough to have worked on strong roles in Bollywood, but there is still adequate room for improvement in the industry when it comes to themes and scripts.
"The scripts and stories need to be stronger and that will happen if the writers are also given the liberty to express their creativity and are paid better. Having said that, I must say I have been lucky to have a free-willing career and enjoy meaty roles," said the 'Margarita, with a Straw' star.
