Kashmir CPM leader Tarigami suffers heart attack

Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) leader and MLA from Kashmir Kulgam M.Y. Tarigami on Sunday was admitted at a hospital after he suffered a severe heart attack.

He is currently undergoing treatment at the SK Institute of Medical Sciences Soura.

Tarigami, reportedly, had a heart block problem and a pacemaker operation was performed at him.

Tarigami is a representative from the Kulgam constituency and was elected thrice - 1996, 2002, 2008 and 2014 - from the constituency.
