Katy Perry has opened up about her struggle with depression after her marriage to comedian Russell Brand broke down in December 2011.
The 30-year-old singer said that it was sad and there were thoughts, but there were never actions, thankfully, the Mirror reported.
The 'Firework' singer added that her song 'By The Grace Of God,' which details her suicidal thoughts, is the first song that she wrote coming to make this record, when she was in a "different and darker place.
