Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's media adviser Nagendra Sharma on Tuesday alleged that the opposition was spreading misinformation regarding the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief's electricity bill to divert attention from real issues.

"Air conditioners are not installed in the Chief Ministers' residences. There is an office for officials to work over the weekends, as also in the mornings and evenings. And there is a hall, which can accommodate more than 300 people. Therefore, this kind of misinformation is being deliberately spread to divert attention from the real issues," Sharma told ANI here.

Regarding the results of the RTI enquiry into the electricity bill of the Delhi Chief Minister, Sharma said that the figures were yet to be ascertained.

The electricity bill of Kejriwal's Civil Lines residence was about Rs. 91,000 for the months of April and May, according to an RTI reply.
