American actress Kelly Rutherford has slammed the judge for ordering her kids to go back to Monaco and has asked for an appropriate explanation for making such a decision.
The 46-year-old actress said in a statement with her lawyer Wendy Murphy that judge Ellen Gesmer had violated her children's right as an American citizen as she had no right to seize their passports and order them back to Monaco their father Daniel Giersch, who didn't even care enough to be present in person, E! Online reported.
The 'Gossip Girl' star added that being a New York judge authorities can't enforce any order from a foreign country unless and until the foreign order is registered in the United States.
She also shared that her 8-year-old son Hermes and 6-year-old daughter Helena don't have Monaco's citizenship.
Rutherford concluded that she will never give up the custody fight and further criticised the judge saying that if Gesmer conscience should never let her sleep well, ever again as what she did was shocking, illegal, and abusive to her children.
