Lena Dunham reveals childhood fears in new book

Lena Dunham has made revelations about her childhood fears in her upcoming memoir 'Not That Kind of Girl

The 28-year-old actress described that at the age of 8, she feared things like appendicitis, typhoid, leprosy, unclean meat, foods that didn't emerge from their packaging, foods her mother hadn't tasted first so that if they died, they died together, homeless people, headaches, rape, kidnapping, among a lot of other things, People Magazine reported.

The 'Girls' program creator added that she was accompanied by the germophobia morphs, hypochondria morphs, sexual anxiety morphs, pain and angst when she entered her middle school.

Dunham's 3.5 million dollars book, in which she has also opened up about her therapist, Lisa, who helped her confront her concerns, will be available from September 2014.
