Louis Tomlinson is officially a dad!

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has welcomed a son with his former flame Briana Jungwirth.

The couple welcomed their first child in Los Angeles hospital, News.com.au reports.

However, the news of the 'Drag Me Down' hit-maker's baby's birth was received with lot of disbelief by directioners.

One disgruntled directioner raged, "Oh finally after a year of being pregnant, briana finally "gave birth" to a non-existent child #WelcomeBabyTomlinson."

The 24-year-old singer had first met Jungwirth earlier this year through mutual friends.

Tomlinson and Jungwirth, who were expecting a baby in July, were first spotted together in public at Snoop Dogg's album release party in May.
