Man held for raping 6-year-old neighbour

The police on Tuesday arrested a man in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl.

According to the police, the accused who happens to be victim's neighbour, fooled the latter on the pretext of buying sweets and took her to a nearby forest and raped her.

The accused, Shabban, is currently under detention for further investigation.

A case has been registered in this regard.
