The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday claimed that managing the Congress is a challenge for party vice president Rahul Gandhi, and dismissed the relevance of the Gandhi scion's 'padyatra' in Telangana.
"Rahul Gandhi is not a challenge for us. Congress is a challenge for Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi was outside India for 56 days, and after that, suddenly he got active.
There is an internal fight which is going on between the Congress Party and Rahul just wants to show everyone that he is active," BJP national secretary Shrikant Sharma told ANI.
Sharma asserted that the Congress vice-president is resorting to falsehood.
"Rahul does not care about the land of the farmers, he is looking for grounds for himself in the party. He can go for a 'padyatra' anywhere, but it's certain that he is resorting to falsehood," he added.
