Mario Balotelli faces driving ban post hitting 109mph in Ferrari

Mario Balotelli is facing 28 days ban from driving after he was busted for hitting speed of 109mph in Ferrari.

Liverpool footie ace Balotelli was fined following the December incident, where they were caught spinning the heel along the M62, the Mirror reported.

The 24-year-old Italian striker was didn't attend hearing at Wirral Magistrates court, but his solicitor Mike Hogan said he was co-operative with police and would have entered a guilty plea, after which a penalty of 800 pounds was issued along with the ban.

Hogan said that Balotelli, who earns 110,000 pounds a week at Anfield, had apologized, and that he had no plans to make a habit of it.

 

In another incident, Liverpool player Kolo Toure too was fined for speeding on the M6 in April 2014.
