A mechanic pair from Maidenhead, Berkshire was flown to India just to repair millionaire and Blackburn Rovers owner Balaji Rao's JaguarJet in Mumbai, according to reports.

According to Metro.co.uk, mechanics Colin Philpott and Graham Allen have just returned from India after working on the 1989 Jaguar XJS.

It is the third time they have been flown to Mumbai since the multi-millionaire owner of Blackburn Rovers FC said he needed someone to repair it, the report said.

Philpott, 53, said that Rao had a look around and asked them what experience they had; adding that the next thing they knew was that they were getting visas and off they went.

They were put up in the Mumbai Marriott hotel and given 24-hour access to their own personal taxi, the report added.

Rao owns a fleet of cars including Rolls-Royces, Mercedes and Bentleys. But the mechanics flew in to service just his Jag, which has 32,000 miles on the clock, the report mentioned.
