Pop singer Miley Cyrus has claimed that her evolution into a sexy star is down to pop princess Britney Spears.

The 20-year old American artist justified her raunchy MTV awards act as "the spirit of the event", and added that she learned everything she knows from the 31-year old 'Toxic' singer, the Mirror reported.

The 'Stay' singer admitted that she is obsessed with Spears' 'Slave For You' video.
