Murray's slump continues; crashes out of Italian Open

World N0. 1 Andy Murray slump in 2017 continued as he was knocked out of the Italian Open after suffering a shocking second-round defeat against Italian Fabio Fognini on Tuesday.
Murray, the defending champion, crashed out to Fognini 2-6, 4-6 in just over 90 minutes.
The loss continues the Scot's poor form ahead of the French Open, which gets under way on May 28.
Earlier this month, Murray had also made a shock third round exit at the Madrid Open.
Borna Coric of Croatia had defeated Murray 6-3, 6-3 in a contest that lasted for more than 85 minutes.
