Nepal's Legislature Parliament that was scheduled for Thursday afternoon has been put off until Friday.

The Nepali Congress and Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist Centre (CPN-MC) have been insisting that no confidence motion registered at the parliament earlier this week should be put for discussion, reports the Kathmandu Post.

They also asked Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli to resign to clear way for the formation of the new government.

The ruling coalition, however, has been insisting that the parliament should first endorse two remaining bills related to fiscal budget before having a debate on the no-confidence motion.

Maoist leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara said, "Discussions will take place among the top leaders at 1 pm tomorrow.
