No respite to Himachal as mercury further soars

Temperature in Himachal Pradesh continued to rise on Tuesday as the mercury went up by four-five degree Celsius from normal.

Shimla recorded 28.4 degree Celsius on Monday, four notches above average.

On Sunday, the day temperature in Shimla recorded was 27.2 degrees.

The local MeT office predicted dry weather over the next five days.
