NRI voting: SC grants two months time to govt

Earlier in April, SC had given eight weeks time to work out modalities and other aspects

The Supreme Court on Wednesday gave a time of two more months to the government for completing necessary arrangements for NRI voting rights.

The Supreme Court had earlier in April granted the government eight weeks time to work out modalities and other aspects to allow proxy voting and e-ballots for NRIs during elections.
